The festival’s dystopian vision is fleshed out by five nights of undead acts that range from hard to harder and noisy to noisier. Kinetik is certainly not a festival for everyone but, for horror junkies and those who like their electronic music hard and not too intellectual, this is just the event to beat your ears into submission and electrocute your dreams.
Kinetic starts out on the softer side of hard with an electro night featuring David Carretta, Nitzer Ebb vocalist Douglas McCarthy’s latest project, ASCII.DISKO and our own beloved DJ Mini. The festival then phases through old school industrial to jump into two nights of hard industrial and “rythmic noise” before wrapping up with a night of EBM and synthpop.
Life is hell, let’s party!
